Moss Point High School Career & Technical Education Center RV-12 Build - Located at Moss Point Mississippi and under the leadership of Billy Carroll as the CTE Director (https://cte.mpsdnow.org/), they school is working to secure the funds to purchase their first kit and start their build. Volunteer support for this has already stepped forward as well as potential for help from the local EAA Chapter. Further, this build will be well tied to the A&P program located at the nearby Pear River Community College (https://prcc.edu/)
Southwest ISD High School in San Antonio RV-12 Build #121136 Project A - Led by Darren Medlin. KSAT 12 gave news coverage titled 'Young minds at Southwest High School debut first student-built plane in South Texas' of the 'Dragon 1' plane taking flight. Take first flight in February 2024, the San Antonio Report also did their own article titled 'Ready for liftoff: Southwest HS students witness the plane they built soar into the sky'. Going to the earlier days of this build, David Baker did a Facebook posting on March 2020 with numerous pictures showing the build getting well underway. Iowa build partnering with a community college Build #121167 - Led by Chuck Weber. Completed in July 2021. (Pictures, name of the community college, and more details coming).
RV-12 build in Florida - Led by Scott Malcolm, brother of Jeff Malcolm who played a key role in prior RV-12 builds in Indiana. (Pictures and better dating on the timeline coming).

North Vernon Indiana Build Project D - The AviationNation team appreciated Ken Cashwell stepping forward for funding for this build. (Pictures coming for this plane as we them from Ken Cashwell. Get a quote from Ken maybe here as well).
Omaha Nebraska Build 121037 - Led by Jim Beyer with the support of EAA Chapter 80 (https://www.eaa80.org). The build was done with the heavily involvement of the Air and Space Academy at Burke High School. As covered by First Alert 6 article and video of 'Student-built plane takes to the sky', the plane first flew in February 2021. More on the history of the build can be see on the Facebook page for the AviationNation Omaha Facebook Group. We were all saddened to hear of the passing of Jim Beyer who impacted so many youth with this program and other youth aviation endeavors. (More pictures to be added here). EAA Chatper 80's did a posting on June 2025 of 'Jim Beyer Rememberance' and one can learn more about the The Jim Beyer Memorial Tailwheel Scholarship also hosted by EAA Chapter 80.
North Vernon Indiana Build Project C - (More notes needed here. First RV-12 build fully underneath the AviationNation brand).
North Vernon Indiana Build Project B - This build initially was started by the US Army in Buttville under the leadership of Mr. Tomanek on a program to help students complete their diploma. Due to an unfortunate stroke by a key leader, the build was stalling and was transferred to North Vernon where students completed the plane.

North Vernon Indiana Build Project A - Now owned by Jeff Malcolm and still being used to this day for EAA Young Eagle flights. We appreciated Hoot Gibson, head of the American Astronaut Corp for 10 years, for doing the graduation ceremony for the students who helped build this plane. (Pictures of the plane coming).
