Once upon a time, six students opened the very first kit, of the very first plane to be built by kids, in a school, in a long, long time.
2. They worked together in their classroom with their teacher
3. and mentors as the group grew in size and camaraderie.
4. Their joy was obvious as the plane started to take shape.
5. That summer some went to AirVenture Oshkosh, where they set up their very first tent.
6. They met celebrates like Tuskegee Airman Dr. Welton Taylor.
7. And a year later displayed their very first creation, along with no small amount of pride.
